Trash Folder

Happy New Year and all that. It's been a very slow Christmas break. I turned 20 and got drunk a bit, but for the most part I've been going a bit mad for things to do. I'm one of those people that usually finds the Christmas / New Year period a bit miserable - bah humbug - but I've finally started to make myself busy and I thought I'd share some of the fruits of my holiday loins.

Secondly, I've spent a little bit too long trying to think of a good way to spend my time on Tumblr. I used to love Tumblr, but I left for a good year or two and came back to find it was a horrible place and generally a depressing way to waste my time. However, there are some folks doing really interesting things with it and I decided I wanted to be one of them.

Two weeks later and this is a grand idea I had whilst procrastinating earlier today called Trash Folder. Here's my little spiel about it:

It's already had more submissions than I'd hoped for within the first few hours and it feels nice to have made something that isn't just me, posting my photos and gradually getting sick of them. In fact, so far it's done the opposite. Putting two of my unwanted photos amongst other peoples has made me want to revisit them. Hopefully it'll do the same for others.
