THE AFTERMATH
This Friday saw the opening of the photography degree show at the city campus of the University of Wales, Newport - a first in the new campus. After volunteering to help I quickly ended up helping to document the night. Though the focus of the night was the opening of the show, that in itself entailed a number of other events, announcements and appearances. In addition to showcasing work from Photographic Art, Photography for Fashion & Advertising and Documentary Photography respectively, there were awards given out, books launched and speeches from a variety of people. I think most would declare the night a success. Great show.
