Thankfully I found them and I went to develop them at uni. However, not only were the films expired - which is why the colours are off and I like how expired film looks anyway - but during processing the machine decided to chew them up and damaged the negatives beyond repair. Some worse than others.
I don't actually mind. I think both factors have made a vast improvement on the images.
